While returning home to Middleville, just happened to spot this guy sitting in a tree in the middle of an island on the West Canada creek. I have seen him flying down the creek before, but never sitting still. Feel very fortunate to get this shot.

It must be nice to hear them make there calls. They may not sound like a red tailed hawk, but are still powerfull sounding at times. One time I drove through the Town of Russia and they were everywhere.

we all have known about him for many years there is 2. the locals do not talk about them they think kids might try to hunt them, and are afraid to make a issue over them. I've actually had them swoop down at the car i was driving. shiny windshield.LO
