Bald Eagle on West Canada

While returning home to Middleville, just happened to spot this guy sitting in a tree in the middle of an island on the West Canada creek. I have seen him flying down the creek before, but never sitting still. Feel very fortunate to get this shot.

Nice photo; I've spotted him a few times, and I don't know why but I always feels good when I see him. Hope he never leave the area...

It must be nice to hear them make there calls. They may not sound like a red tailed hawk, but are still powerfull sounding at times. One time I drove through the Town of Russia and they were everywhere.

Funny, if we were in Alaska, these would just be another sparrow sighting. Very glad they're here and making a come back.
