Utica - The Student Center at Mohawk Valley Community College was bursting with excitement as table after table filled with guests for the Annual Utica Rotary Holiday Party on Friday, December 3rd. Beautiful evergreen centerpieces, red, green and white balloons and traditional Christmas music created a festive holiday atmosphere.
The Utica Rotary has hosted the party for individuals with disabilities in our community for over thirty years. It has become a tradition that is anticipated with excitement throughout the year. For many individuals the party is the highlight of their holiday season.
Numerous members from the Utica Rotary along with Arc staff and board members volunteered their time to attend the party, serve food and beverages and join in the dancing after dinner. Arc staff, Russ Bell along with his musical partner Joe Esper provided the music and a special visit from Santa and his elf delighted all the guests.
A very special thank you is extended to the Utica Rotary and to all those who volunteered. The party is a wonderful way to start the Christmas season and renew the holiday spirit.
