On the west side of Middleville is Harter Hill along with Schrader Hill. Harter Hill is nearly as high as Barto Hill on the the opposite side of the West canada Creek. From there I could view the nearly complete wind farm in Norway and Fairfield. The wind Turbines on Dairy Hill were mostly between Observatory Rd. and Snyder Rd. That was formerly occupied by the Dairy Hill Fire Tower. Now it's all windmills. I guess now the maintenance crew will get a better view of the area than the fire tower would have ever provided. I counted 11 with one under construction. (Picture 1)
Picture 2 shows the Hamlet of Fairfield and picture 3 shows all
25 Wind Turbines in Fairfield North to South. I had a hard time getting them clear. Turning up the sharpness ruins the photo like the last posting I did. I wish I new how to get around haze when doing distant shots. If you are a weather guy you might have noticed that the wind mills in the Tug Hill are creating false echos on the radar. It would be interesting if these do the same.
