While snowshoeing on the North Trek on Friday 1/21/11 with friends, I was so amazed at the winter scenes at the Utica Zoo. So, two days later on a frigid Sunday afternoon, I returned with my niece, to take some winter photos. The backdrop of the white, newly-fallen snow and bright sun, gave a new dimension to the zoo animals and their shelter.Snowshoeing the trail, we experienced the Utica Zoo in a whole new way!
