Well folks Just because down in Pennsylvania That ground hog did not see his shadow the same does not apply to us up here in Remsen N.Y. Yep you guessed it , two hours later Remsotoni Phill up here in Remsen N.Y. was discovered by Bruce Phelps's dog Lizzie In their back yard digging it's way out of a snow bank. Lizzie quickly summoned Bruce's help and that snapping tooth varmint was extricated from its den. With long protective gloves Bruce was able to work safely around this critter but Lizzie did get one of her front paws nipped. WE had him out of his den only a few minutes . I did gather enough information from its body language and hissing at us that he indeed did see his shadow and said "Put me back in my den as you folks have 6 more weeks mixed winter weather coming at you. Enjoy the rest of your winter folks Bruce Phelps Remsen N.Y.
