On February 11, 2011, four new collaborations were announced at The Children's Museum in Utica NY. One was of the extension of our interactive 4th floor train exhibit, donated by Steve Mowers and setup by Steve, Sam Crisino, Leif Willson, and Earl Lewis. Another was of a Superheroes Room setup by Marc Tucci where kids can learn to be their own superheroes. Another was a Sheriff's Room where OC Deputy Sheriff Peter Servello will present kids safety programs on Saturday's. The other was the announcement by Museum Director Brown and Adirondack Scenic Railroad Stationmaster Jay McFarland of a combined day-long field trip for school groups, scouts, seniors, tour groups. The groups will first spend two hours in the museum (a half hour on each of the four floors), then lunch, then a train ride to the Erie Canal and Utica Marsh. The cost will be only $9.95 per person, with 1 chaperone free for every six paid. More information to signup at http://www.museum4kids.net
