Snake eating round goby

We were fishing last spring in Fairhaven State Park and had the unfortunate problem of catching round gobies which have no place in the great lakes. The proper thing to do is kill it. I am not one to hit a fish over the head but as I was deciding a big snake came along and devoured it and swam away. Nature can be grissly but we kept on fishing.
