The video was taken at Sylvan Beach, the still photo was taken in west Rome looking towards Camden....both the video and the still photo are of the same storm taken within minutes of each other. It's the one that had numerous tornado warnings issued by the NWS originating in the beach and continuing through Rome and Oneida County. The rotation really increased as the funnel exited Oneida Lake, and we were probably not in the safest position at the time. I've witnessed and felt 80-100 mph winds before and this was right up there...it was an exciting but scary few minutes as the center of circulation went right over our heads. I learned a short while later that it had done damage and flipped some boats over in the marina at routes 13 and 31 in Verona....definitely an experience.
