As I awoke this morning, I was amazed to see the amount of water sitting around my yard, and my neighbors (video).
As my wife and I attempted to drive to work, we noticed that Chapman Rd was closed in Washington Mills. To our surprise, the intersection was under water. Some of the houses at the bottom of the hill had a considerable amount of flooding (photos).
The New Hartford PD directed the traffic into Murphy's Excavating to turn around and to head back up Chapman Rd towards Utica.
