On the way home from work today around 5:00PM between Utica and Frankfort on Rt 5S there was a cow walking around on the road. A man and woman in truck right in front of me pulled off and tried to get the cow off of the road. Cars were stopped and backed up for quite a distance behind me. They did manage to get the cow off of the road but only into the area between 5S and an entrance ramp to 5S. I hope they were able to get the cow to safety.
