Hummingbirds Fight Over Food!

This male hummingbird kept sitting on my hybiscus tree guarding the hummingbird feeder. It's about 5 feet away from the feeder and everytime the female came to eat, he would attack her. I sat for about an hour watching them and taking pictures, they were so cute. He finally decided to share so I assume she put him in his place... HaHa!!!!!

I use Hummingbird feeders with perches so they can sit and eat. They tend to hang around a little longer when they can sit!!!!
