Fire Destroys home on Kenwood Rd Marcy

Fire beoke out tonight about 11:15 at a home on Kenwood Rd in Marcy. Both the woman who occupied the home and her dog were brought to safety. The home was fully engulfed when Maynard firefighters arrived at the scene. Stittville fire dept was also on the scene. It took about 30 minutes before the fire was brought under control. The home looks to be a total loss

Capt. Randy Caldwell and Asst. Chief Jared Pearl deserve credit for going into to burning building and saving the dogs life!! Great job!! Nice photo of AC Pearl resting after carrying out the dog!
