McDonalds vs. Fire Department made for a great match-up in the 2011 Little League Championships. Both teams worked hard and ALL the players did their very best. The games were extremely intense for the players and the fans! Despite the pressure, the players did remain calm and played a terrific series. Each team won one game to tie the series 1-1. On Friday, June 17th, the teams battled it out for the championship. After 2 scoreless innings, McDonalds scored 6 runs in the third. Their tremendous defense kept them ahead while preventing Fire Department from scoring the rest of the game. McDonalds won the game 8-0 in the 6th. Congratulations to all on a job well done!
