My husband wanted to treat our grandchildren, Autumn, Justin, Thomas & Isabella to a special day. After all, the 3 older children had such terrific report cards. After much deliberation, we decided to give the Utica Zoo a try, hadn't been there in many, many years. (Thanks Don & Megan for sharing "Donovan" on the news recently)We headed out Friday, July 1, 2011, and were not disappointed, we even became members of the zoo! We are planning more visits this summer and will definately take a picnic lunch next time. The zoo was so clean, the employees friendly, the weather terrific and the company...great, what more can grandparents ask for?
