The Friends of Herkimer Home State Historic Site celebrate the 253 anniversery of the United States with a non-denominational patriotic church service at the Ft. Herkimer Dutch Reformed Church in German Flatts on Sunday the third of July. The Herkimer Home is open for tours on Fridays,Saturdays from 10 a.m to 5 p.m and on Sundays from 1 p.m to 5 pm. For more information please call the site at 315-823-0398 from 9-5 on Wednesday thru Saturday and 1-5 on Sunday afternoons. The sight is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays except on Monday Holiday's.
