This is the first year that NYS had a category for Certified Organic Fruits and Vegetables. Kent Roberts of Hearts Hill Farm grew and made the braid. He has grown garlic for over 25 years and have been certified organic by NOFA-NY since 2006. This braid was made of Czechoslovakian garlic. It won 1st prize and Champion of the Certified Organic Fruits and Vegetables division.
