ALS, known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, is a progressive motor neurone disease that robs people of the ability to move. But this past weekend, ladies came together to move towards finding a cure for this disease! Women from around the area moved their bodies and donated money, raising around $300. This event happened on Saturday March 31, 2012 at Danceography Studio in New Hartford, located in the Big Apple Plaza next to Tony's Pizza. Danceography offers normal Zumba Fitness classes on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8pm, but this special event was planned in hope to find a cure. Donations go to MDA's Augie's Quest to cure ALS. Thank you to all who contributed and particpated in this Zumbathon.
