The first pick is of the only snapping turtle I've ever seen. I was out for a ride and saw this girl trying to slowly make it across the road to the swamp. Of course, being the animal person I am, I had to stop and help. At least I knew not to touch her. She'd move to cross and I'd stomp my foot to push her along and everytime I did that, she'd stop and turn around. Finally I realized she felt threatened and she made it safely across and into the water. That was on McKoons Rd in Pitchforked NY.
The last pic was taken on West St. In Ilion. Seeing spring flowers out on a sunny day, I just had to take this pic...not noticing the church in the upper right corner..just thought it was neat.
The 2nd pic is my bumble bee on a dandelion in my yard. This is why I love the macro button on my camera.
