My son Derek Olivas and I were looking at the geese out near the beeches in Rome, NY. Last week I saw the momma goose protecting her eggs and figured this week would be close to the time the eggs would hatch. Come to find out, there were 3 mother geese, each having laid 6 eggs for a total of 18 gosslings. So Derek took pictures of each set of 6. He's quite the photographer at age 12 (almost 13).
