Today Canojoharie lost one of its Small Town Iconic landmarks which many have fought for through the years to keep right where it has always been (In the middle of the street)~ Central Paving , the contractor doing the paving thru the towns revitalization process "accidentally" whacked the Historic Dummy Light which has been there for Eons with the Pavement Reclaiming machine pictured in the background left that looks like the neck of a Brontosaurus! The Contractor is already underfire and being back-charged and fines of $1000.00 per day for not meeting their agreed deadline for completion and now this! OUCH! Poor lil' dummy light! iT even has its own T-Shirts and Postcards which can be purchased in some of the local stores on Main st. a sad day today~ =((
