3 Bald Eagles sighted over Westmoreland

While mowing the lawn this morning I saw 3 bald eagles circling over the field behind my house on East Carter Rd. in Westmoreland. They were much higher than birds normally fly, they were just riding the wind currents and not even flapping their wings. Beautiful sight !! Glad to see them in the area.

They could not be identified as Bald Eagles in this pic. How was the spotter sure?
