This annual event celebrates the history of the Mansions of Millionaires Row on Rutger St in Utica NY with lectures about Remington Arms Utica supply factory, Civil War armaments field surgery gear and techniques,and re-enactors, tours of the mansions, a tea set up by the Daughters of the American Revolution and lectures by Mary Chapin and others.Abe Lincoln showed up, and so did William Howard Taft. The League of Women Voters ran a well received voter registration drive as did the group promoting Education in Retirement at SUNY. Utica has a proud history and a great future.
