A trailer detached from the truck carrying it, ripped through several hundred feet of guardrail and rolled down this hill in St. Johnsville. Nearby resident, Terry Potoczny, says this isn't the first time he's seen accidents in this very spot.
"I don't understand what it is here, we've had cars come off the thruway, we have had a truck a few years ago stop hit a part of the concrete and left the rear end sitting there," said Terry Potoczny, eye-witness at the scene.
He goes on to say police and fire officials arrived within minutes.
