Since 11:15 this morning, nearly 1,400 residences were without power on Thanksgiving Day due to a power outage from an automobile accident on State Route 51, south of West Winfield. The power finally did come back on 5:30 p.m.

My power was out too. How did you cook the food, my turkey was only 1/2 cooked. We didn't get to eat till 8 PM. But we will remember this one forever, we had a lot more time to visit children and grandchildren.

Luckily my Mother in Bridgewater had power, so the turkey and other miscellaneous foods were prepared there, and others brought dishes to pass.
