I'm sorry to see the brewery burn. But Utica lost it's PRIDE along time ago! Thanks to Hanna!!!!!!!!!!!! Left Utica 8 years ago with only a few regrets! FAMILY.
Inappropriate? Alert Us!I agree that it is sad that we lost such a historical landmark, but as successful as the brewery has become, I'm willing to bet that the Matt family will re-build something new and awesome in it's place that will make the entire community proud.
Inappropriate? Alert Us!I am so saddened to hear about the Brewery fire. We have a family history; my grandfather worked there, my dad worked there for over 40 years, and we established many friendships. The Matt family and Utica area are in my thoughts and prayers.

Inappropriate? Alert Us!It is a total surprise that one of the fire investigators didn't come up with the cause of the fire as a burning cigarette, seems most any fire is blamed on a burning cigarette! Why not this one too?

One of the last few good things Utica had to offer now its gone. Uticans are left with just crooked politics and low paying service jobs. And to Debbie Down your day, NY is now going to recognize gay marriage, reason 26,894 to leave immediately!
