Were you there at the audition Fangirl? All the judges said it was phenomenal and gave my high praises for it... and one actually said it was an excellent song choice.... I'll go with the opinion of the judges

Fangirl knows apparently nothing about music, that was a very steady, controlled performance; each note hit with precision.
no one said anything when I praised her last week. just calling it as I heard it. everyone has off times.
Why do people seem to forget that these singers are doing great. Lets applaud them and not dish them and have fun and support them. It takes guts to get up there and then put up with everyone's comments. I could never do it. I am very proud of them

I am a music person , and I know a good voice and I even have talent myself. She did ok for typical karaoke but to take the win, It won't happen. Sorry
She did her own version of a James Blunt tune; not even close to karaoke....appears you really don't know as much about music as you claim
