It's my third and last year in Shot Put. I had set the goal for myself to make the distance for Sectionals. And I did do that. In order to go beyond Sectionals you have to come in first or second place. I knew I would be facing tough competition but I was going to give it everything I had. I could not believe it. I threw 45 feet 5 3/4 inches to take first place in Sectionals. What a way to end my Senior Year and last year of Track. I will never forget it or the feeling of accomplishment.
