the first thing that most people think of when they think of whitesboro is football and the spirit that the community has for it.
but thats not all that whitesboro has. next time you go to a football game, take a look at the side lines and notice the girls on the side cheering on all of the boys..
during my 4 years of high school i was able to take part in the cheerelading squad. same as the boys we worked hard everyday so we could be on those side lines cheering them on, watching their every play hoping to win, being proud of them at the end of each game
i myself was lucky enough to be one of 3 captains for this squad. all 3 of us were very proud of all of the girls and all of the hard work that they put in over the season. we were able to end our football season (and my last season as a whitesboro football cheerelader ever) with a win at a compeition. that was the iceing on the cake! i loved every minute of that season and wish it was not over. the memories that i gained from cheerelading and all of the lessons i have learned are going to travel with me into the future
