The 2nd Utica Puerto Rican Festival

The 2nd Annual Utica Puerto Rican Festival was held on Sunday, June 9th at the corners of Bleeker St. and Nichols. The event was held in honor of the city's Puerto Rican, and entire Latino community in recognition of the National Puerto Rican Day Parade, held on the same day in NYC. A performance by the Utica Children's Dance Ensemble Ritmo Caribeno, was enjoyed by all as well as BBQ, a boucny house and dunking booth. Latino based gifts and souvenirs were for sale by Cutz and Scratchez on Mohawk St, who were a major sponsor of the day.
