I decided it had been a while since I attempted a sunset... and the conditions looked promising.
With my camera bag and tripod already in the truck... and my favorite sunset perch in mind, I hit the road! At around 8:20 I was fast asleep... but my camera captured THIS! (Automation is SO handy!)
I'm kidding, of course! I was off Starr Hill road near Remsen facing southwest. Pentax IST.DL with a 28-300 Tamron lens. Several shutter speeds and aperture settings later... I came up with this shot!
