The West Winfield Community Singers held their Americana concert the evening of Boilermaker Sunday.
The video is of the children warming up for their song "American Words to Live By" backstage. The concert saluted the men and women that have served and are currenly serving in our armed forces.
The Community Singers has been around for decades and holds four concerts a year: an Easter Concert in the spring, an Americana concert in the summer, a gospel music concert in the fall and a Christmas concert in December. All the concerts are free to attend and are held at Mount Markham High School Auditorium in West Winfield on a Sunday at 7pm sharp. The concerts are never more than an hour and there are free refreshments following.
