this looks like a red tail hawk to me , i don`t think we have any falcons in this area.

thanks for the info...there is a second pic where you can see some of the tail..dont know if that is enough.

I checked in the peterson field guide. It looks like a red tailed hawk. It's hard to be sure without seeing the tail. The adult has a red tail and the immature have light banding on the tail.

we have to peringrine falcons here in cincinnati oh .it sure is a perigrine falcon.

Looks like a Perigrine Falcon like the ones that are (were?) on the Gold Dome bank in Utica.
