Very Sad Little Girl

Have you seen this 4 wheeler? It was stolen off a trailer in our back yard in Clinton. It was my 5 year old daughters birthday present, that was what she really wanted so instead of presents everyone gave her money wich went toward her 4 wheeler. She also picked strawberries everyday and sold them on a stand in front of our home to get money towards it. She only had it for 4 weeks. We are offering a $500 cash reward for any information leading to the 4 wheeler. It is a Red 90cc Polaris Sportsman.

The only thing sad is that a five year old child is driving a piece of equipment designed for an adult. Yes, it's "scaled down" for children, but does that make a difference? What's also sad is that so many people agree with kids riding ATV's!!!

My son had a 4-wheeler at the age of 5 without any incidents because of rules, safety gear and training. He is now 10 and has upgraded to a bIt amazes me how people can take a sad story and turn it around into something completly different.

ANd another thing!! says ... on Monday, Jul 28 at 6:18 PM

You should really know the parents of the child riding the four wheeler. They've practically grown up riding them and atv's of all sorts.....When it comes to having a child on one they'd be the trustworthy ones!!! ds

I am aware that there are laws in place for kids riding in cars, they are called carseats. There are also laws in place for kids riding ATV's, they are called HELMETS! If you didn't notice she has one on.

Why would someone be lacking common sense for buying their child an atv? Do you understand they make atv's FOR CHILDREN? Or that there is a part on it so the parent can control the speed or that they have remotes that can stop the atv? U KNOW NOTHING

A Responsible Parent Who Also Bought Their 5yr. Old An ATV!!! says ... on Sunday, Jul 27 at 6:36 PM

I think anyone who is so quick to judge someone else on parenting their own children is the one lacking the serious common sense. I really hope you dont have children and i am not kidding you!!!

I'd rather my child be taught how to ride an ATV than get curious and try it on their own. A 90cc is not very fast anyway...and for all you "protective nerds" THEY FOUND IT!!!

Anyone who would buy their 5 year old an ATV must be lacking some serious common sense. "Because she wanted it?" You have really got to be kidding me!!! By the way, YES there are laws in place for kids riding in cars!

Aunt to missing 4 wheeler victim says ... on Friday, Jul 25 at 2:56 PM

You obviously don't know anything about the 4 wheeler, her father built pegs so her feet can touch. Everything is overated anyway. Do you put your kids in protective gear while riding in the car?

I'll look out for it....but. says ... on Friday, Jul 25 at 9:43 AM

It probably is blessing in disguise. This bike is obviously too big for your daughter. Her feet barely reach the foot pegs. Plus she isn't wearing any protective gear other than her helment. Shorts and flip flops? Be a responsible parent!
