Channel: Local News

Location: Corner of Pleasant St. and Brinkerhoff Ave. Utica

It has been over 45 days since I made a call to report this incident. UPD was notified DPW, Parks Dept. and the City Sign Dept.. I was told it would be taken care of, yet as you see the signs remain, along w/ the sprayed sidewalk. I would just like to ask Mr. Rofarreo, Mr. Labella and Mr. Conte if this sign was on their street how soon would it be replaced? How long would the side walk remained sprayed w/ paint? I take pride where I live and dont think this is much to ask to be replaced and removed. Pleasant St. and Brinkerhoff Ave. is where the signs remain. Several times a day I leave or arrive at my house and ask myself " How can we pride ourselves to where we live when something so little cant be dealt with". Thank You..

All the stop sign around south Park Drive, Albany St, Culver Ave, and Tilden ave have also been sprayed...can we get those fixed? Probably not since they are not on the Booilermaker route!

Let's stop over looking incidents that occur and voice our complaints. We should work together to keep our city respectable place to live.

I think it's wonderful that there are still people in this community that care about their neighborhood. I have lived in Utica for 34 years and have watched the city go down hill. Let's all work together to get our city back the way it should be.

do you have nothing to complain about more than spraypaint on street signs? welcome to urban life. go volunteer at a soup kitchen if you want to see the state of this city improve.
