Little Falls resident Faye Bunk has been chosen as one of 10 finalists in the Animal Planet “Cat Hero of the Year” contest sponsored by the makers of Fresh Step cat litter.
Faye was nominated for her work as founder and President of H.A.L.O. (Helping Animals Live Organization) and for the caring and compassion she exhibits to all animals she encounters. Part of the final winner determination in the contest is a People’s Choice vote.
If Faye is chosen The Cat Hero of the Year Award winner H.A.L.O. would receive a cash prize of $5,000. Faye’s nominator, a H.A.L.O. volunteer, would receive a cash prize of $1,000 that she would also give to H.A.L.O.
