These are photos of piles of headstones left on a maintenance road in Forest Hill Cemetery in Utica. They are next to what seems to be a garbage dump for the cemetery. The road is not supposed to be used by anyone but the cemetery employees and twists and turns on the south side of the cemetery. When you pay for your plot don't you pay for the maintenance? The headstones don't look beyond repair and some even look brand new. In other parts of the cemetery headstones are used to weigh things down at the ponds.
