Accident on the New York State Thruway around mile marker 237 shortly after 11 a.m. on Wednesday, involving two tractor trailers.

The front ends of both tractor trailers appeared severely damaged at the scene, and at least one had lost a large amount of gasoline.

Emergency crews were spraying the ground with foam to soak up the gasoline, a State Trooper said.

Deerfield Fire Department, State Police, and Kunkel were all on the scene, but were not discussing details of the accident at the scene.
