My brother, Rick Dano, of Boonville grows large pumpkins and is well known up there for the size of his pumpkins This year he had one of the vines grow up into an apple tree and the green pumpkin is literally growing in the apple tree. The bright green you can see in the pictures are the vines winding up thru the tree. I have also include a picture of the pumpkins that grew normally instead of in a tree.
