Around 4pm on Tuesday, it started snowing *heavily* in Port Leyden. By 5pm 2" had accumulated on the ground.

The snow calmed a bit during the evening hours, giving travelers better visibility, but icy roads.

Around midnight, the snow picked up again, adding 6" before coming to a stop around 4am.

Storm total snowfall, 8"
