The Arc, Oneida-Lewis Chapter announced Lynette Boliver as the 2008 Employee of the Year. She received the award at the Employee Recognition Dinner that took place on Monday, November 3rd at the Radisson Hotel in Utica, NY. Lynette has been employed with The Arc for nearly 19 years and is a Service Coordinator in Lewis County.

As a Service Coordinator for The Arc, Boliver assists individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in gaining access to necessary services and supports. She also promotes the concept of choice, individualizes services and supports as well as tracks consumer satisfaction.

Boliver’s friendly, patient and cordial demeanor adds a special vitality to the Service Coordination team. She is committed to the Agency’s mission and values, and is dedicated to meeting the needs of others, including her fellow team members.

Mary Ingersoll, Boliver’s direct supervisor, describes her “as, highly motivated and always anxious to learn in an effort to better serve her families. She simply does not accept that a child’s needs cannot be met. Lynette always provides parents and participants with a positive outlook of what opportunities the future may hold.”

Bolivar resides in New Bremen with her husband, Hank, and sons Isaac and Logan.
