I have been dating my boyfriend, Jimmy, for close to two years and although we've had our ups and downs he is my main support. I haven't always been such a Christmas person until I realized what the holidays were all about. It's about love. Plain and Simple. Love is what makes life better and it's what makes the holidays worth the stress. Shopping, cooking, decorating, and all the nonsense you work so hard at to make the holidays perfect isn't necessary, as long as you have your loved ones with you that is all that matters. My boyfriend is my everything and I look forward to the holidays all year long simply because I can't wait for him to open the presents I got for him, tell me he loves them (even if he doesnt) and kiss me under the misletoe. Love is all you need and love is what makes me look forward to the holidays every year. The picture is my boyfriend and I before his family Christmas party, which was an amazing night spent with his entire family.

I was captivated by what you wrote. I strongly believe that the holidays would be nothing without love! i dont care about the presents at all. its about spending time with your loved ones. You and your boyfriend are a lovely couple. Happy Holidays!
