A robin frequents our crab apple tree for something to eat. It doesn't even pay attention to the well-stocked birdfeeder in the back yard.
This is only the 2nd robin that I have ever seen in the winter.

we had at least 20 or more in our crab apple tree in Ilion around the beginning of Jan. But could not get a good picture of them to submit

Robins won't go to your feeder, as they do not eat seeds. Worms, bugs, and some fruits. Robins have been wintering over, which they never used to. A sure sign of our eco-system changes!!! (ie: global warming!)
