On March 14th the City of Utica put on its Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. People from all around came to celebrate and enjoy the occasion. The Community and Family Services staff at The Arc, Oneida-Lewis Chapter along with some of the individuals we serve took part in the festivities. They decorated two busses, a float and dressed in green as they road down Genesee Street expressing their enthusiasm. The Arc’s Executive Director, Angela Z. VanDerhoof, rode in the float waving and showing her support as she passed by the onlookers.
The Arc’s Community and Family Services Division is dedicated to helping the individuals we serve strengthen their skills and/or achieve satisfying and rewarding connections and relationships within their communities. The Utica St. Patrick’s Day Parade is just one way The Arc continues to bring people together.
