Progress Industries-LCI, a division of The Arc, Oneida-Lewis Chapter NYSARC, has launched a new website designed to communicate the financial benefits of outsourcing assembly/production services. Two facilities supply expert production services in the areas of assembly, packaging and manufacturing and provide valuable vocational training opportunities for 275 individuals with developmental disabilities within Oneida and Lewis Counties.

Jim Coffin, the Director of Business Development, says, “In this demanding economy, businesses are evaluating every available opportunity to help keep costs down and outsourcing can be a viable option. The financial benefits of outsourcing allow companies to eliminate variable direct labor and machine costs by establishing a fixed price per piece.”
