When my husband and i first started dating, he wanted to show me his house, so i agreed, granted it is a fixer upper, but its a 6 bedroom from the 1890's, which it will be amazing, when we are finished. Well, when i walked through the door, i didn't expect it to be so bad! You get used to it I suppose, and we fix up whatever we can within our budget. when it came to the bathroom, i took one look at it, and my first thought was "this room is impossible, we are going to have to tear everything out and start from scratch!!" but as we began to work on it, and we got married a few months back, our biggest problem has become the bathtub, it looked much worse before we replaced the shower doors with a curtain, which brightened it up a bit and then i began to scrub.....and scrub....and scrub some more... that's when i realized, after 3 bottles of CLR for bath tubs, and a lot of time and effort, that those stains weren't going anywhere. we came to the conclusion that we needed a new tub. Period. But we couldn't afford it right now, so it would have to wait, and then my mother told me about this contest, and we figured it couldn't hurt to try.
