This unoccupied structure has a gorgeous view of the Saquoit Valley and Paris Hill. Unfortunately this rat trap spoils the few for all who pass.
Roberts Road treats us to some of the most beautiful landscape in our area. Residents along the way, maintain neat gardens, manicured lawns and freshly painted homes. For some reason this horribly dilapidated structure has been allowed to stand in violation of local codes, for years.
Somebody has responsibility for enforcing the codes and removing this eyesore. The real story here is about this irresponsible official who is not doing his job. Both the eyesore and the official should be removed ASAP!
This unoccupied, dilapidated structure is located four tenths of a mile east of Norwich Corners on Roberts Road.

The owner probably died and no one wants to take it over. If the taxes are not paid, the town or county will take it over. Then the taxpayers will end up paying for the demolition.
