I love watching my bird feeders and was watching the feeder on May 9th and found four of these birds at my feeder, two males and two females. I grabbed my camera and snuck outside but they are more skiddish than my normal birds so I had to sit outside for 45 minutes in order for them to come back to the bird feeder or the deck so that i could get pictures. I did manage to get a picture of one of them sitting in a tree I assume waiting for me to go inside so they could come back to the feeder

ty moonbeam. if anonymous would look up finches in any birdbook or online he or she would see they are called yellow beaked blue finch. because that is what they are.. they were here again this summer to.. i love them they are so pretty

These are not Indigo Buntings! These birds look just like yellow finches except they are blue and their very dark wings have no color bars.
