Chittenango "OZ Fest"

Channeling L. Frank Baum in Chittenango

The sunny weather this past weekend in Chittenango brought out the crowds on both Saturday and Sunday for the annual "Oz Fest" in Chittenango.
Photographers clicked away as characters from "The Wizard of Oz" gathered before the 2:00 p.m. parade on Saturday.
Author L. Frank Baum would have been happy!

Have you seen Baum's original plays? Very weird, to say the least! Interesting, a bit boring, yet enlightening. To see where the characters came from, and how the story became, was fantastic. I love this final creation using Baum's characters!
