I was traveling northbound on N. James St today when I reached Black River BLVD. and noticed that the traffic lights were out and police were directing traffic. I knew something bad had to have happened. We were trying to go left onto the blvd to Mohawk Acres and the police would not let anyone go left, we had to go right on black river blvd.. We then took a went around past Rome Memorial Hospital and then back onto N. James St. We proceeded to drive all the way up N. James St when we reached black river blvd near the Pallisades hotel and then we saw a pick-up truck off the road. Police had that blocked off also. I then proceeded to take pictures to send them to NewsChannel 2.
